Sure, start with the PDC. But if that is OK or doesnt cure the fault mebbe look to the battery next. Trouble starting is usually the last sign of a poorly battery. Earlier signs are the car disabling certain 'non-essential' functions to conserve energy. Does stop/start still work ? How about your re...

Re: 07 116i dashboard gone crazy

Water in the rear PDC module can cause erroneous dashboard lights and the so-called 'xmas tree' dash.

Other than that I think the instrument cluster can be sensitive to any battery issues. Is the battery healthy ?

Re: SLOW LOADING FORUM PAGES

Ive always found posting replies kinda slow (using web browser) but oddly when you edit a post and re-submit it they always seem to upload almost instantly.

Re: Combox

There should be wiring diagrams on https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/. Best to use your VIN to select your vehicle then search for 'combox'. Good luck!

Re: Test drove first 125i need advice!

Condition Based Service intervals can be lengthy if car driven steadily. As long it was done within 2 years it could be correct.

I used a clay bar on it once as suggested by a forum member but it didn't improve things.

Re: BMW scents? Gingery orange one?

Might not be an air freshener as such, maybe just the smell of some cleaning product theyve used on the interior.
Something like this perhaps ? https://shop.bmw.co.uk/bmw-uk/en_GB/p/g ... PID_20569/

Re: Wiper blades for F20 LCI

I currently have Bosch on my car and they squeak & judder. was driving me mad last night in all the rain. Tried Valeo beforehand and they were just as bad. bit lost as to what to try next. Perhaps BMW ones are the way to go, altho those are supposed to be Valeo made. £39.80 from BMW's eBay store.

SLOW LOADING FORUM PAGES

Is it just me/my internet connection but noticed the last few days how slow the forum pages can be to load. They always used to be really snappy loading within a second or so, but this week seem to take much longer and often several seconds if not more tho it is variable. Time for me to change ISP ?

It can be coded to 'off' or to remember the last setting I believe.

Re: Bloody start stop! How do I turn it off

I've programmed myself to switch it off as part of my setting off routine - start engine, fasten seatbelt & disable stop/start. I do however switch it back on when approaching traffic lights that have just gone to red and I know Im in for a long wait.
