Re: TRL collection day!

just drive it normal - its not an f1 engine, its a mass produced engine.

i am a firm believer of running them in normal - not too hard but not easy, releases pull performance long term

was about to say that looks like tyre dressing

will leave a nice permanent stain on your tarmac - use washing up powder to remove from your drive way

GAP won’t make any difference I’d have thought, the insurance company will most likely just buy the OP another new one given how new the car is.

Glad you’re OK OP.
Assuming his mods are covered looking at his signature

Gald your OK though - very lucky guy

Re: M2 adaptive headlights

cannot comment on M2 but historically the inner lamps for adaptive lights for xenxon cars was cornering lights at low speed - i could be wrong on the latest generation

Re: UAC car not as described - what would you do?

whats the asking price

have you spoke to TRL as you may find for a small extra amount of money you get showroom condition car and top service

I wouldn't reject a car for 2mm of rubber but at the same time the market is flooded with Mlites - another one will turn up

Re: Naughty number plates

Re: Any other watch fans on here? - part 2

personally go rolex - although special occasion, better investment

OMEGA's do not hold value and for me a Rolex is a Rolex

I would suggest however trying them on as some rolex can feel cheap (they are not but can feel that way)

Re: Anyone have a manual that over revs on upshifts?

I found my on it and really going for it the car used to over rev when changing gear

One click back on the seat adjustment sorted it - I was basically sat that little bit too close and not releasing the clutch completely and still on throttle

Try adjusting your seat

Re: The 40+ MPG Club

took you 3hrs to do 155miles

I would get mid 50's in the boat and would do that in 2hrs or less. And probably more entertaining for that particular trip

Any car is eco friendly when do that sort of speed
