Re: Car tax

The tax is set for 5 years after the first year. So first 6 years of anyone’s ownership, regardless of 1st or 10th owner.

Re: How much difference does an LSD make ?

Everyone has cost/ benefit limit that they work to, so perhaps to some a £2000 diff isn’t worth it. I have Quaife diffs on both my cars, 330d and 240i and wouldn’t be without them. I get significantly more traction in the mid winter cut n thrust of daily driving, and a massive amount of confidence i...

Re: how to run the m140i on a rolling road

It must either be in Sports+ with manual gearbox mode, or in the rolling road mode. Any other mode and the gearbox will kick down at full throttle.

Gear used is typically 5th.

6th is a 1:1 ratio, but road speeds often go beyond what the dyno can run at.

How much of a difference will this make for a daily driver?
Whoever owned that car has an excellent taste in upgrade parts. [emoji2]

So you would also need to space the rear mounting points on the under body brace.
Ah I see. Can’t you put a localised oval squeeze to avoid the brace?

The BEST B58 exhaust?

All cars have a tunnel brace.

The V tunnel brace, commonly known as ‘underbody brace’ has extra arms that V outwards from the tunnel brace. This does not add any complication to exhaust fitting.

Re: The BEST B58 exhaust?

none of the others make a 3.5" system, they're all stock 3". I can look into the cost of titanium and go from there. Thanks for the suggestion Well actually the stock diameter is 80mm, so technically 3.15” but yes, I see your point. Price wise, as you know titanium tube is more expensive and needs ...

The BEST B58 exhaust?

Shame you didn’t make it in titanium. That would give it a USP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Could also out price a lot of people? Yes, but as I see it, you are one of many, many stainless steel options, Remus, Akrapovic, BCS, M performance, Milltek, scorpion, etc. If it were titanium, you’d b...
