Post by Kalkbrenner »

Hi there,

It's a pleasure to be part of this community. I need help... I'm desperate mates, been searching for a bmw performance exhaust for my 130i since november of 2019. Is there any chance to get one? Don't care if its new or used.

Thanks!!

Stopped producing them a while ago now. They do come up for sale but not very often I'm afraid.

Most either have a custom box made or source a E82/88 135i back box.

If you're minted there are options from Eisenmann or Superspint.

Wish I could know the total of units produced. I'm searching at used markets every single day of the week and they don't show up...
Yes, I know the 135i back box and the other two options you've mentioned. Many thanks.

Don't buy the one listed in stock on MStyle - as with half their inventory it sold out years ago. Found that out the hard way.

My car has a 135i exhaust that the previous owner modified by welding up the perforations within and removing some sound damping material.

I think if I were starting afresh I would start by leeping the 130i backbox and removing the central silencer.

Bastuck do a stainless steel exhaust too.

I've found that an almost brand new one was sold a month ago there... I'm always late. Let's pray for another one to be listed soon.

This is an exhaust from a 135i

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3374902148

However, the bloke is asking for far too much money. This gives a decent improvement over the 130 exhaust

Thanks mate!! For the moment I prefer to keep looking for a 130i bmwp exhaust.

Anyway as you said, price is out of market. I mean its a stock exhaust...
