Yeah I have but have decatted downpipes and BMW Performance exhaust and Y pipe. I think it would be too loud with N55 non catted mid pipes and at the moment passes MOT without a problem. I think N55 mid pipes would make MOT's dicey.

Sure you’ll be able to find a friendly garage?! Where you based?

I’ve not had a trackday with the back box modded but Knockhill weren’t arsed at all with the decat y pipe and stock box.

It’s been an awful year for track days for obvious reasons Image

I’m in York. I have friends who run cars catless through MOTs, so I’m sure there are some friendly garages nearby.

I’m happy to run the cats though, I don’t think I’ll be chasing the extra 10hp-15hp that I could make if I went straight through. I fully understand that straight pipes save lives though. Image
