Guys:
Do you put the higher octane fuel in your 130i? I've always used V Power Nitro having had a few Jap import cars. Is it worth it on these? Are the engines supposed to run on the better stuff?

Cheers.

Hi mate

How are you getting on with the car? I often used V Power or Tesco 99 fuel in it, although honestly can't say I noticed a huge difference.

I don't think these engines are too fussy on fuel, I use the higher octane stuff when I can get it but apart from a slightly smoother idle I can't say I notice much difference in overall performance.

I'm going to try a tank of the normal stuff, see if I notice a difference. Cheers.

Jiggaman - really pleased with it. Car has been faultless so far and it's grown on me much more than the Z4 ever did. Noticeably less economical though given the engine is the same. Haven't checked but I presume the 1 is heavier than the Z...
