What a lovely sight. Are they keepers because I notice you've moved on some cracking motors?

Hi,

Had the 130i for 7 1/2 years and done 105k of the 158k miles. Favourite (though not the best) of all the cars I’ve owned, love it to bits and will be with me until one of us is scrapped..... So yes a keeper :D

Only had the 1M six months but already enjoying ownership more than the Lotus. It’s a very special car that has really long term keeper potential. It gets driven a lot, and is most definitely not a garaged investment queen.

I just love the shape, relatively simplicity and old school feel of the E series cars. The newer, faster, tech laden, but inert F series cars (including M2) do nothing for me despite being “better” on paper. Cheaper to own in the long run also. :fest:

Gave the car a good clean over today with the awesome weather just now.

Just picked up the M140i Shadow Edition last month, absolutely loving the thing, RWD is so much fun just now, still a little unsure when the weather turns bad. Time will tell.

My friend took a few photo's for me.

Wrong category I think. This is an F chassis isn't it? You're in the E chassis topics here.

Hey guys,

Not posted photos of my 130i yet but here are some quick photos.

I use it as my daily currently driving to Chester. New job in MCR meaning it’ll get a lot less useage as I’ll be getting the train - more time for mods

Gave her a wash and took a couple of pics. I think she looks great for her age.

I've already posted in this thread once and don't want to be greedy but new motor arrived on 14/9/18 and promptly went on a little jaunt with a bunch of good mates... :D

I've been looking at dark lines but not sure I liked the smoked look against white paint, we'll see if it grows on me. Plans are plentiful but not fleshed out fully yet, I've had a few track cars so trying to not ruin this lovely road car by making it crashy and stiff. Currently scrounged together some rogue engineer gearbox mounts, a braided clutch line and some nice Redline fluid to give the gearbox some love as it's been running the OEM 'life time' sludge for 55k now.

Plans for the forseeable future are to grab a decat, swap in some N54 mids (secondary cats) and get a custom map (currently running MHD OTS). Car's been great so far though, I came from a long-line of e30s, e36s and e46s and this is easily the most fun street car.
