Intercooler advice

Post by wambam87 » Thu Aug 02, 2018 8:17 am

Hi guys

Ive got a 2008 123d , Im looking to soon re-map it and im interested in upgrading my inter-cooler also as i often do track days.

Im aware of aftermarket ones and the bmw performance type one but im more inclined to try to use another one of a different BMW , are there any other comparable coolers that dont require too much modifications to fit.

Any help would be awesome!

Only the BMW Performance FMIC you already know about. http://www.leebmann24.de/ladeluftkuhler ... 79279.html

33% more cooling - BMWP vs Stock:

Yup, that will bolt in with the new trims. No major mods required but they're a little tricky to swap on E Series cars.

Would that intercooler be a straight swap on a 118d 2011 plate?

No, the 118d is different (skinny little charge pipes from the tiny turbo), won't fit.
