I have a 120d Msport '57 plate with 110k miles, some body work damage and an intermittent, undiagnosed EML that I have been hoping to get rid of.
The intermittent EML has appeared since having the high pressure fuel pump replaced. The garage broke my auto gearbox in the process of replacing the hpfp and repaired it free of charge (via a third party specialist). I am fairly confident that the EML is related to either hpfp/rail pressure/injectors. Fault code is 4560.
The insurance company have just authorised the repair of the body work damage (£325 excess).
In some ways, it would have been ideal if the insurance company has written off the car due to the body work damage, but they didn't.
Now I have a car that could have decent body work and look nice, but has an intermittent issue that obviously devalues the car! I want to get rid of it, but don't know the best way of going about this.
What on earth would you do?!
What to do with a poorly 120d?!

Trade it.

Trading it could be an option, but we were looking at doing the NHS car lease scheme which didn't accept trade-ins as far as I'm aware.

As it's an N47, I'd turn it into a nice desk or table:

Silver F21 M135i - ManBox - HK - Adaptive + Eibach Pro's - BBS CH-R's - BMWP Drexler LSD - M4 LCA's

Looking to part ex it with BMW and get an m135i (that's the hope anyhow!)
