Why is castrol official site showing 0w-30 to be correct oil for my car?
I'm planning on changing my oil, and I have half a bottle left of this oil -

Now, I cant find the same (think they changed the packaging), so is this proper oil for my car -

And is it problem to mix those two, so I dont buy one extra liter (old bottle of oil was stored in my garage for arrount 1.5 years).
Thanks :)

The weight is not relevant.

You need to make sure you buy the right spec.

Castrol Edge Titanium FST in 0W30 or 5W40 are the correct specification.

If the old bottle you have has Longlife 04 on the back it is fine to use.

Don't get hung up on the weight, the difference between a 0W and 5W in the UK is not worth worrying about.

Castrol? You must be made of money, plenty of other cheaper alternatives, then just change it more often 👍

Just had my 3er serviced with 5w40 PD LL04 TripleQX Eurocarparts - thats that sorted for another 8k
