I’m not sure it’ll be that exciting but I’ll take a few pics after this round of tinkering and see how it goes.

How much did the short shift kit cost you to get fitted out of interest?
The kit itself was about 130 from Harry Fairbairn. And I just fitted it myself. took about 15 mins start to finish, hardest bit for me was getting the old plastic collar turned to the right position to remove it

Interesting! I’ve been quoted £120 and two hours to fit...

I’ve got the gear knob, gator and new short linkage. Is that what you got?

I'm also looking forward to do this, I have at home the Short Shift Kit waiting to be fitted, but I didn't found too much info on how to install the new short leveler.

How do you remove the lever / leveler? And how do you install it? Specially the lower clip #6 (do you need a new one btw?)

number six is just a circlip, i used a pair of needle nose pliers to remove it, also, the kit comes with a replacement one, so no worries if you kill it taking it off.

handy how to guide from this very forum :)

The hardest bit for me was rotating the white collar into the unlock position. again i used the needle nose pliers in the two slots and twisted. if you look at the new unit, you will see how the locking mechanism works.

Thanks Craig :D Understood! And happy to know everything can be done from the inside.

I will buy (just in case) another #6 because I don't have any spare one on my kit (second hand).

No winter tyres. Decided to leave it on the street and walked home after getting stuck in the middle of the road.

Look nice don't they. Any more pics / details of suspension lowering?

Arches look flared too bit that may be the lowering giving it that appearance.

Wheels are Inovit Thrust 18x9J
215/35/18 and 225/40/18

Changed from a 35 profile to a 40 at the rear last week and will go to from a 215/35/18 to a 225/40/18 front set up once the fronts run out. May possibly buy Ian’s camber plates then.

Offset is ET33. Car just recently passed MOT with them on. I’m pretty sure we get a lot of slack in Scotland because I don’t think the police would allow this setup down south.

Lowered on Eibach pro. Fenders not rolled.

When I’m working I put back the style 207’s to carry equipment in. These rub with five people and a roof box on.
