Finally, after months of searching, I finally bought an automatic 130i (well paid the deposit:))

Very low mileage, facelift, KW V3, many options and looking well.
Anything bad I missed?

Cant wait! :)

It doesnt have sports seats (only electric normal), but I guess I can live without them:)

And I was reading about KW V3, so hopefully they can be set up to be comfortabilish for daily driving as well :)

(I really like the black on the rear bumper, so would like to do something similar to the sideskirts and front bumber - a little black accent, any tips?)

What about getting the swages (scoops to the faux air intakes) on the side skirts vinyl wrapped? You could get the brake duct/fog light swages done similarly...maybe.

I rather like my 130i's original front grilles, specifically because of the chrome surrounds...

If anyone’s looking for a late low miles very high spec 130 3 door then I am thinking of selling mine. I’ll get pics and proper info together this week but in short:

58 plate, 40,000 miles, FBMWSH, BMW extended warranty
Incredibly rare Space Grey, full Black leather

Bought as an AUC by me at 22,000 miles in 2014.
Battery cable recall & ABS sensors replaced last week with Health check carried out by Vines BMW Guildford.
Also had major service inc plugs at Vines BMW in March 2018.

The best bit of this car is the spec. It has every option and when I say every option mean everything available at the time. Except towbar.

Professional Nav with hard drive and later screen (CIC?)
Adaptive Xenons with high beam assist
Folding dimming mirrors
Harmon Kardon with CD changer
Sunroof
Heated Electric seats
Comfort access
Aluminium accent trim
Lumbar support
Front & rear PDC
Bluetooth
Cruise control
Etc

It’s in near immaculate condition, good Pirelli P Zeros, regularly hand washed and polished.

Let me know if this sounds like the car you are looking for.
I need to give the price some thought but thinking around £11k

There don't seem to be many "Hunters" on the thread at the moment!
I think mine will be up for sale soon if a viewing goes well later this week.

2006/55 130i M Sport
Le Mans Blue
136k miles
Full leather
Well maintained

Has been a joy to have for a year but I now need something bigger.

Will put up a proper advert when I'm sure but feel free to PM me if you might be looking soon.

Located Southampton.

Sounds great, will keep an eye out for this, similar build to my auto, apart from comfort access. Interested to see what you get for it. Trouble with 'minters' is that you need that person who's willing to pay higher rate for them. I ended up keeping mine as I paid £12k at the time and just wasn't up for taking a massive hit on it. It's my Wife's car now

Hi all, looking for a clean looked after (hydraulic steering) car with under 100k mileage and properly documented up to date FSH with BMW or known BMW specialists only. Blue, Silver or Grey exterior. Black interior. Great condition throughout with good tyres. No major mods please, other than official BMW items.

Prefer heated leather, upgraded audio, cruise control, Bluetooth, parking sensors etc just like everybody ! ;)

Hi everyone

I'm coming to terms with thinking of selling my 130i e87 at 109k, owned since Dec 15 when it was at 87k. 2 previous owners, 1st being BMW as a press car, sold to 2nd by Banks Motor Company (BM specialist) who bought it back and sold it to me :D

Full service history at BM initially then BM specialists after that.

Its just about unmodified other than upgraded brakes to Rotinger, runflats replaced and yellow calipers.

Some great info on this thread for sellers and buyers alike.

What i'm trying to figure out is with it being really 'fully loaded' what kind of premium does it command over typically speced examples up for sale at the moment?

Sorry would add photos but haven't figured how to do that yet still being a newbie

Nice option list there .. but I doubt it will command a massive premium due to miles if it had 40/50k yeah it would be worth a fair bit more , also the fact that it’s an ex press car would put me off , have you seen how the press treat there car’s
Personally I would just hang on to it if you still enjoy it.

That's a very similar spec to mine. Apart from I have no voice control, Sunroof, USB and Comfort access. I have business rather than professional Nav, plus auto, autodip mirrors, adaptive headlights and most importantly the trunk room net. Its a 07 with 60K on the clock. Keep toying with selling it, but there is really little else I would consider changing it for. Nearly came close to changing it for a S4 supercharged version but didnt bite the bullet in the end.

Hi chaps,

I'm toying with the idea of buying a 130i. I have an r26 megane powered Clio 197 but missing that N/A life and fancy a change. Anyone owned a Clio RS before and can compare?

Ideally I'd like a 3dr, with some nice goodies like big brakes/coilovers/lsd/m3 bits etc. Has anyone written a used car buying guide on stuff to look out for? I'd like to do my homework of course before buying, and any tips would be appreciated! :)

Cheers

I bought mine at 87k and now wished I hadn't put 20k on it but hey ho. I've put the feelers out to Jason Barker and the guy who has the company I bought it from initially. Both have showed some initial interest and I need to send over full history, condition etc. I'm interested to see the kind of price range the may offer to help me decide........mine has boot nets too - mega option!
