I have a German-spec 130i that I was hoping to take back to the U.S. with me.

Currently in Stuttgart, Germany.

It’s fairly stock, upgrade to exhaust and headlights.

5dr
M-Sport
170k KM
Manual

I’ve been lightly searching for upgrades, but it’s been slow as it appears there’s not a whole lot to do for the motor.

Considering selling for the sole purpose of restoring a 67’ Austin Mini.

I've had a couple of 123d are you still looking? MY advice would be 125i/130i not 123d unless you are doing mega miles and are prepared to cover the cost of a timing chain failure.

There's one on eBay I was keen on, not 100% though.

If a nice within budget 130 came up I'd prefer that. There are other cars I'm interested in, because petrol head.

Slowly going off the idea. Appealed due to performance and economy etc.

Will keep looking.

BMWs really are great but really it’s all about the engine.

When you have a range where the top power engine is also very economical and reliable, it’s hard to warrant the other engines.

But yeah finding one.

Do you need a 1er? Thought about a Z4 2.5/3.0Si?

Evening all! Little update on my 130i...

Picked up a near-mint M Sport Coupe front bumper yesterday ready to be fitted (already Titan silver with pdc and headlamp jets too!) and some okay condition 216Ms that I’ll get powder coated dark grey. Got the 135i exhaust sitting in the garage too! Time to get to work I think...

135i exhaust a straight swap for the original or is cutting and custom piping required?

Yeah a bit of work but luckily I got the centre resonator too so I think just need to adapt the hangers? Going to be welding in a solid pipe to the resonator too...

Can you get some pics up when it’s done? I fancy doing something to mine at the front end, I don’t know if I can get the performance bumper now though so the coupe one is an option for me, I’ve also got the same alloys so it’ll maybe help with the visuals.

Oh the forum will be flooded with pics when done! Hoping to get the front bumper done this weekend, painting the grilles black tomorrow night.
