Keeping an eye on this, I’m currently using my settings from my G30 5 series but think it could be improved if someone knows what they are doing

I’m in for this too. At the moment I don’t feel HK is anything special.

Had HK in my M140i but took the standard audio in my M135i. and I agree, HK wasn't worth the extra cost.

I can't get my system settled either yet.

I find its OK at higher volume for music, but then lacks depth for news and general chat stations.

Nice system that just need that bit of a tweak to get it right...

The standard system seems more than adequate but could do with a couple of high frequency tune up speakers mount high up in the front doors where they fit the HK ones. Anyone know of any after markets ones and how easy would they be to fit?

Ok , I have been playing around and this is so far the best for my own preferences please remember that everyone has different taste so this is my own taste
For some reason to me is better with the logic 7 surround Off
I also put the Fader one rear a tiny bit and after you finish with the Equalizer the bass and trouble will automatically be in position, after that is when you can play going up or down bass or trouble according to your own taste or leave as it is if you like the way I did mine
If you like it enjoy ...

Is HK really worth the extra money as its seems way to fiddly in order to get the sound the way you want it and then you probably have to keep adjusting it depending upon the music you like to listen to at any given time?

I haven’t adjusted anything, and find the sound very good indeed. Just turn up the volume and enjoy.

Coming from a Seat Arona (yep Seat Arona 😂), I found the standard system a bit woeful and equal in comparison! The HK system is much better and louder but took some tweaking the equaliser to get it right. I haven’t picked my car up yet but have had 3 test drives, 2 extended ones in both a standard audio car and a HK car. The HK imo is well worth the dollar, but maybe lacks the real deep base I’d expect in a premium setup.

Do you know how many “clicks” each way it was to get those settings?
