G42 thread

Post by Jonjones13 »

Can’t seem to see a new 2 Series (G42) thread on here - kinda surprised considering the July 8th release date…looking forward to (most likely) putting in my order for a M240… :)

Looking at Brooklyn grey metallic or black with Pro Pack, but ouch, £48,540…..

Spoke with BMW yesterday and looking at early ‘22 delivery.

Anyone know when lease prices might be available? Can get a M135 Pro pack for around £340 (8k miles and 6 months down)…think 240 will be £450+ pcm for equivalent lease terms :-(

Its around 450 (6 months initial) for the current model, so I think you'd be looking for at 500+ for a no-frills new model.

Sorry BMW, but with a near £50k price tag for a 2 series, I’m probably going to (heresy, I know) get. Tesla 3 as a company car. Sorry!

Why not an i4? Unless you’re really keen on panel gaps, poor build quality and beta testing their dodgy cruise control
Current 70 X3 M40i - Sophisto Grey

Gone 68 M140i Shadow Edition - Sunset Orange

F*** no - nice little city car, but for the money (acceleration, practicality, price) nothing beats the Tesla Model 3 (long range) right now imho. Why don’t more manufacturers bring out electric smallish sports cars (2 Series size)…
