Washed the car today and noticed where a bird had poo'd on the car and it had dried that I have a stain that cannot be removed with the products I have.
Tried citrus pre-clean on it neat and it's still left there. If you rub your finger over it then it feels raised and sticky in comparison to the surrounding paintwork.
Tried some 'tar and splat' remover - again no joy.
Some quick detailer and a mf cloth will sort it. Much cheaper than ag poo wipes. Bilthamber do a dilutable qd. 500ml is £15 but that can be diluted down to 20:1 if needed so good value for money. Iv mixed up a batch 5:1 and its good stuff! At 5:1 thats 3 litres of qd for £15!!!
i use ONR mixed 1/16 in a spray bottle to remove it without touching even if its been sat there all day in work carpark, microfiber held underneath so it doesn't run every where give it 3 or 4 spays over a minute, it lifts it right off with out touching it. If it leaves an etch i have used Autoglym Reflow pads which work perfectly every time i have used them, no need to polish the clear coat.
Autoglym reflow
Our last 220d in Estoril Blue got constantly shat on where my wife parks it at work. Usually cleaned fine but 1st experience of etching and 1st use of a hair dryer, gone.
Previous to that my neighbour on our shared drive flicked her cigarette one night so that it landed on our alpine white roof. SRP worked wonders on that but also a lot of elbow grease.
