Inline water filters

Post by pitbull666 » Thu Feb 25, 2016 7:54 pm

Since I live in such a hard water area can anyone recommend an inline water filter to use on my hose for the pressure washer?

I have the raceglaze water filter. Not cheap but excellent. I've currently got 0ppm with it.

Set up a couple of water butts rather than tap water to avoid scale issues.

The item in the link states, not recommended for use with pressure washers

08' 125i M Sport E88 LMB/Boston Lemon, Xenon, Pro CD, BT, Alpine & L7 Subs

Would this work for the final hose down after the car is fully clean. I always finish with a normal hose so this could be a good product

Sorry yes, for final rinse with a hose.

Looked at these yesterday. Seem better value at (£99.99 for the 7 litre unit with refills at £45) than the £62 pound Aqua-Gleam, as the Aqua-Gleam is not refillable, so would be £62 a time.

What does the different Litre value mean? i.e. what would the advantage be of the 25 litre over the 7 litre? Is it just that due to the more filter material, it will last longer before needing to be refilled?
