New X2 35i...

Post by WannabeaQuandt » Fri Sep 07, 2018 12:18 pm

It’s not for me. Clearly it won’t be a bad car but it’s a bit sad that this is the future for the next 1er and all other hatchbacks too... Oversized engines in small cars always throws up some amazing cars! 147 GTA, Clio V6 etc
Almost certainly front biased too if the 4 wheel drive system has a fancy diff for the front wheels only...

Edited to add I actually think the side profile looks decent and glad red leather is still available! Wouldn’t want to see a bill for replacement discs and pads though

Bespoke seats are a nice touch! Engine sound, admittedly just pootling around, not so good...

No, I like it as well!

For the purpose it can be used for I think it would be one of the best!

No me too  , I spotted a well spec'd normal X2 the other day in a car park and it looked very nice, came home to see if they did it with a 6pot petrol turbo motor and was disappointed they don't!...still the 4pot seems to make good numbers so maybe in a few years once price drops it might make a nice family truck with grunt :D

I had a courtesy X2 a while back and it’s a nice cabin and quite good looking.

Driving position obvs felt high compared to the 1er.

Looked at the price guide for the 35i and the base price of over £40k is somewhat offputing.

I really like the X2 (especially in 35i guise) but they seem expensive on PCP when compared against the X3, which is why we’ve gone for the latter.

i just cannot get excited about 4 bangers it's just too mind numbing and mainstream boring everything out there is 4 banger...

But they are in it to sell cars ,make money and compete out there in the modern consumer world end of the day..
