Just out of interest, what is the GFV after 3 years?

I was looking at a PCP quote on a Kia Stinger earlier - list price of £40k, GFV of £18,765 after 3 years. That resulted in monthly figure of £630 and initial payment of £3200.
2018 Mercedes-Benz C200 AMG Line Coupe Polar White

Depends where you go. Some crazy quotes flying around.

I pulled the trigger on mine and placed an order at 352/month with a 6 month deposit and 3 year deal. 15k miles. 380 odd with a 3 month deposit.

Hyundai not moving pricewise, leaving it all to the dealers. As a brand new spectacle for them they can’t really judge deprecation, that and they have utmost confidence that they have a belter of a vehicle and they’ll sell themselves.

We’ll see - I was impressed - arrives March 3rd :)

I saw one of these on the roads yesterday; it was dark and on a busy roundabout so couldn't pay too much attention to it but you could definitely hear it. I must admit, I thought it looked a little strange - as if the wheels were too small or it was riding too high.

I looked at one at Edgar’s, Workington. Looked a bit overpriced for the finish and quality.

I've been thinking these would make a very good buy in 3 years time AFTER the depreciation. Probably wouldn't go for it new as the badge is deffo going not going to help the depreciation!

I test drove one and loved but something needs to give with regards finance. I haven’t had one reasonable quote yet. Apart from early adopters I just don’t know how they are going to shift them.

Great car, Hyundai just need to support them with a decent finance package.
M135i auto, 5dr, AW, comfort pack, business nav, advanced audio, heated seats, black panel.

Depreciation is the killer that makes the PCP deals and monthly payments unrealistic.

The same issue has happened to other brands. The German brands all have far better residual values and that makes finance deals cheaper for more expensive cars.

It does sound like a good car, but that badge will always put people off.

Even the i30n performance isn’t really a hot hatch,it’s miles away from the 140i,rs3,focus rs etc,it’s more a warm hatch,it’s in the focus st,Megan rs,Astra vxr kind of performance area.

Can't believe the price of these things! Sure they don't look bad for an Hyundai compared to the crap they normally make, But the price tag given how cheap the fit and finish looks! And the engine sounds dreadful
Now - F21 2013 Alpine White M135i Auto (Sun protection package, Driver comfort package, Bum Warmers, Black Panel, HK, High Gloss shadowline Finish, M Performance grills, rear spoiler and fins)
Before - Focus ST Stage 1, Astra 1.8 SRi, Clio 1.2
