This MPS retrofit kit is similar to the same kit already offered by BMW for m235i. It retains stock adaptive dampers but uses new shorter springs and bump stops.

Yes the kit will physically fit. I ran aftermarket springs on my pre LCI M135i 5dr and top tip is to try and get yr pre-LCI adaptive damping control module flashed by BMW with latest firmware - I had it done on my car in an attempt to remedy a random clunk/suspension noise issue. Didn't fix the noise [new ePAS rack was the culprit] but later FW refreshed/improved orginal damper responses.

Wow thank you for the TOP tip! Didn't realise reflash could be a possibility. Is there a update version number?
I used a Quaife on my e81 130i (with Birds B1 kit) and it was great. But that expensive option will have to wait for now on my F20.
Meanwhile, I was thinking of these, Eibach or similar springs, with arb. In your experience would that help or should I go with a front only arb first? How important are the bump stops? I don't track the car but good B road experience is what I am seeking, along with keeping the adaptive functions.
Does anyone have any more info on these? I've emailed BMW and they said that "with the car having adaptive suspension there is no M Performance Springs available"

For anyone interested there are 3 different part numbers for the rear springs which are dependant on the options selected. Playing around with it it seems a normal ish spec Auto, Adaptive, M sports suspension is 619 rear springs
option code S4UKA "5-seater" changes the rear spring to a 620 as does electric memory seats and S164A "Exhaust emissions standard EU6" - PPF equipped cars?
must be a weight thing moving the spring band about, the fronts don't change though.
So maybe I will need 620 rear springs as my car will be PPF equipped.
Edit: Euro 6 was 2014/15 so this can't be right regards PPF. Assume all M140i's have the EU6 exhaust emissions code then?
either way have a play yourself with the options codes for your car.
