Hi i had one fitted complete with car play back in November at their Derby workshop, I'm well pleased they were very interested and quick doing the change of the screens.

It's made such a difference being able use Google Maps /Spotify etc and in conjunction with IDrive a big improvement!

Can only recommend them they were interested and quick and neat doing the job and have all ways been ready to help with any issues and advice quickly.

Looks a very good unit. I could be interested.
Out of the box with no added extras what extra functions do you get.

As it says on the tin look at video it's all there! I've got wireless CarPlay which was extra but I'm well pleased! Improved my nice car to very nice car

Fitted this morning. Took about 35 minutes. Very straight forward and just plug and play.

Had a little play before work and connected my phone to it.

Flicked through the various screens, played a couple of video's and messed about with the graphic equaliser.

Not got the Sat Nav running yet. However, want to upload Waze once I do.

It is very good. I now use Spotify on every journey I have.

The only downside I have is that I have to manually connect the hotspot from my phone each and every time I start my car.

I did message BM but I might as well been asking my dog!

There aftersales is crap.

Download Waze for satnav. Much better than Google Maps. Works off line.

Nice, did you go for any of the optional extras? I'm assuming fitting this will remove my DAB feature that I currently have on my Business level standard screen as it stipulates to have DAB is an additional extra?

If I were to go for this, I'm wondering if it would be worth going for Wireless car play (will this work with Android too?)?

I did not go for any of the optional extras.

Your DAB will remain. Everything that you have now will remain.

There is an option on screen called Car Info. Select this and it takes you back to your original BMW home screen. Once there you can select your DAB, view your car status and everything you can view now.
