Been a bit quiet recently as don't drive her much during the winter months.

Having said that, she was filthy from a couple of recent wet runs so gave her a good wash and a couple of coats of BSD.

No sooner had I finished then the Brizzle Drizzle started

Very happy with the results of a couple of hours work

Would you been interested in selling your CF diffuser mate? I have a carbon one I can exchange plus cash your way if not?

Stunning car Andy, ...thought I'd have a nosey at your ride.

Very, very nice indeed and all the hard work you put into it is really shown with the results. 8)

Well thank you very much for such kind words 😊
Haven’t got around to switching the wheels over yet but she’ll be all up together and looking pretty for Pod weekend 👍

So I decided to give the old girl a bit of tlc ready for the Santa Pod show this year.
Bumper off and sent of the the body shop for respray together with the last set of OEM BMWP side sills...
Image

Whilst that was being done I decided to have a go at the exhaust tips as I’m not a fan of the ‘Black Chrome’ finish. After quite a few hours with various grades of wet & dry and good old Autosol I had finally got rid of the black finish but retained the chrome (albeit a little pitted)...

Image

I got the bumper and skirts back from the body shop and my brother came round to give me a hand fitting them...

Image

It was then just swapping over the wheels and detailing the hell out of her ready for the show weekend...

We had a cracking weekend at Pod again this year and here’s a couple of shots of one of my favourite angles on the E82...

Cheers
