Finally got round to fitting my road orientated camber plates and had the tracking sorted this morning. Managed bang on 1.8 degrees of negative camber both sides and much better turn in and front end bite as a result.

Anybody who is in two minds as to whether this mod is worth it then I can confirm it definitely is and you'll only wish THETYRANT made them earlier!

My plates have just arrived. I'm very pleased with the quality and finish. I hope to get them fitted this weekend.

Thanks so much.

Thought I would add my 2 pence

This is my alignment with M3 LCA, alignment pin removed and birds B1 suspension so a little lower than standard

I then installed stage 1 plates today along with a M3 ARB, took it back for alignment and achieved these figures

Image

and my front wheels now looks like this (wheels are Alufelgen CS7) thanks for the plates Ian, along with the other mods it now drives like it should

Ive got 1 set of each type of plate left at moment and need to order some more plates soon!.

Should be back in my car this weekend after a long time off due to having to have a hip operation. The camber plates were the last thing I installed the day before going into hospital.
Looking forward to getting the tracking done and reporting back .

What camber and toe settings do people favour on the REAR of a 130i?

Just had another batch of laser cut plates in yesterday so will get some more made up, ive 1 set of stage2/extreme plates built up ready to go if anyone wants a set of those :D

Hi Ian,

Can you please PM me with price and lead time on a set of the Stage 1 road plates? Planning to refresh the suspension in next couple of weeks and a set of these plates would help complete the job nicely. :)

Thanks,

MSM
