Is this Saturday definitely off the cards then?

Yes mate think it's for the better with the current weather at the moment and the forecast for Saturday.
No worries. Won't be able to make the December one unfortunately but I'll keep an eye out for the meet after that.

Looking at the most recent weather forecast, I think I'll give it a miss for Saturday, but will hopefully make the next one.

I'll keep my eye on the forum for the next date.
Hope you have a good day.

Cheers
Andrew
That's fine mate. Been speaking to a few people and in the interest of safety etc I think it's best to call it off and reschedule to another weekend as it is meant to be rain/sleet and a bit of snow Saturday morning/day so not the best weather to be high up on the hills in RWD Beemers.
Looking at doing it on the Saturday 28th of December (weather permitting) for those looking for a run out to escape that boring dead part between Xmas and New Year Image

It looks like I'll have to wait until the New Year to join in the run out as I'm working on the 28th until 12:30 :(

I'll look out for the first run out in 2020!

Cheers
Andrew

Sorry to hear this has been cancelled but we have to think of our safety and well-being. Was looking forward to brekky and the car museum but never mind there will be future opportunities. Have a nice weekend all.

Yes same here mate I was really looking forward to it because it's been a little while since the last. But better to be safe don't want any accidents or damages to spoil the day if it is icey/snowy. Also just been on Facebook and seen there's quite a bit of flooding in the Peak District area after all the rain so probably better we have cancelled as the roads will be a right mess by the sounds of it as we usually go on the A6817.
You'll all have to let me know if you fancy the 28th of December if so I'll make another thread?
If not hope you all have a good Xmas and see you all in the new year on a meet sometime.Image

Yeah they've had it pretty bad. Did you see around Matlock as well? Really bad there.

Some mates of mine were looking at doing go karting in Sheffield, might have needed snorkels. Can't imagine being trapped in Meadowhell overnight either  always gets bad round there.

Good call to move it back. Sheffield is pretty soggy at the mo (my grandparents live there). Reindeer of mine lives and works in Matolock, the high street was literally a river yesterday.
