Impromtu Peaks drive out Saturday

Post by RickN55 »

Anyone fancy a last min run out in The Peaks to the Carding Shed Saturday for a meet up?

Nice one mate weather is meant to be decent so far. Not been out in a while so fancied a run out and if anyone fancies it. Had two new MPSS fitted on the front Saturday. :D

You know you'll change them and the weather will change to minus conditions Image.

Madness best to leave them on then . We've had nothing here just high winds. Hope it doesn't snow Sat!

Have you seen the forecast for the weekend. Hopefully you will miss the storm but keep an eye on the local weather.
We’ve 80 mph winds and torrential rain coming our way.

Unfortunately I can do Saturday. If the weather won’t ruin your plans, have fun!

Sounds lovely J. Love the Cavern Club in pool. We are off there end of next month for the Liverpool legends game and a night out on the tiles so looking forward to it. Liverpool is a great city.

ImageImageImage Yes the wind and rain is next level today never seen rain like it this morning where I am, literally the front window was as if someone was stood there with a pressure washer over it. One of those days today unless you really need to it's best keeping off the roads. I imagine holme moss is impassable in these weather conditions being 2000feet up, even when it's not windy else where, up there you sometimes struggle to hold the car door open so dread to think what it's like in a storm like today. Surprised the mast stays up tbh.
Had a run out to Bakewell yesterday, the weather was glorious, Cod and Chips were on point, got stocked up with Fudge supplies from Roly's Fudge Pantry so happy days. ImageImageImageImageImage

Yeah its a great city they've spent a lot of money on the place + the docks area is great Loved sitting in the Cavern Club in the middle of the afternoon listening to a guy singing with his acoustic guitar he was brilliant its another world down there very cave like + the acoustics are amazing

We stayed at Inglewood Manor seriously good prices this time of year don't think I'd want to pay their going rate in summer

Those fish + chips look spot on + don't blame you for getting stocked up at Roly's Fudge Pantry too hard to resist that stuff :D
