Actually, any chance of meeting at 10:00 instead?

I've got a plane to catch at 14:00 and I'd hate to miss out on the meet.

Thanks,

Paul.

Well, we can make it 9am if that is better for you Paul and everyone else does not mind? After the drive, whoever wants to also take-off (pardon the pun :) ) can do so and the rest of us can gather at Emporium or somewhere for lunch/afternoon snacks?
Show me a great road and I will show you a great car!

That would be great. Realistically, whatever time suits the majority should be the way to go. If I need to leave early so be it.

Looking forward to the trip.

Had a look at my roster am working unfortunately so instead of changing the date for this , might be an idea to organise a few more of these if all goes well . Have a chat between the guys who turn up and see what would be best for all .
Am sure there would be a few that would be keen to make it to another drive .

Dont mind my little tantrum for missing out , grrrr

Today Paul nitramluap and I met at Maccas and went for a nice drive to Mt Glorious. Stopped at the Mountain Top Cafe (with spectacular view) for some Brunch and continued as planned back to Brissie via Wivenhoe/Ipswich.

I had forgotten how good that road/route is, and had to be careful with the Police making an appearance (typical for a Sunday).

Really impressed on the 120d keeping up with me 8) but it helps when I get my gear change right, hey Paul :P

Had a blast and stretched the 1'ers legs well... And I feel Paul beat me on fuel cons. although I ended up av. 10.7lt/100klm even with the Mountain climb :)

Here are the pics:

Yes, I agree... lets do it again. We don't have to do Mt Glorious again (although it is fun), and can have a variety of events so all members get a chance to come along.
