There's only one that does work, listed under "working". I've tried it several times and it definitely does provide the VIN even if the method is a little convoluted.

Despite a few hours of searching, I wasn't able to find anything. Some paid ones give the last 7, but since those aren't unique anymore can't be used to find spec.

Shame, really. It made car buying a lot easier.
This is a bit technical but if its a BMW just use the service booking page https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owners/ ... oking.html

Open your browser inspector and look at the network tab - you want to look at the response to the call to /services, you'll see the full VIN listed in there. Been doing it this way for years
Hi mate. I just can't find the /services on response. Could you please post the VIN of F10YEK plate pls?

Do you have a private plate, pje? I've found that with some sites, I need to put the car's original reg in.

How can I find my VIN number from registration? Is it possible? Links are not working, that's why I am posting here.

Question: why would you want your own VIN? If it's your own car, look at the VIN plate ;)

1st link and method is working perfectly by the way; I just tried it with my own reg to make sure.

** A little convoluted, but confirmed working. Open the page, hit F12 if using Chrome, pop your reg into the box and submit. Select the 'Network' tab at the top, scroll down to the "services/" sub heading under the 'Name' column and your requested VIN should be there in the response tab. See this helpful post for more info (hint, open the image in a new tab to see at full resolution).
This one appears to have stopped working over the weekend :( All the older ones I've found through google have been "fixed" too.

Does anyone else know of any other methods?
