A quick way to find VIN from registration no.

Post by Major_Sarcasm » Sun Feb 03, 2019 5:57 pm

Handy resource to find the VIN of a vehicle from the registration mark. A few of these sites are about but often disappear or remove this functionality. Useful for looking up the build sheet of a prospective purchase in conjunction with online VIN decoders.

http://www.enginecentre.com <-- pop the registration in there and search. Hey presto, engine size, bhp and the all-important (complete) VIN.

No worries.

Use https://www.mdecoder.com to decode a VIN on a BMW.
