I managed to swap everything over and the coding was going well until it came to process ECU and instead of SG_CODIEREN for the job name I have CODIERDATEN_LESEN.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to change the job at this point? $540 has remained in the VO.

Cheers, Sam
Contact BR diagnostics a forum sponsor and speak to Craig (wibbles on the forum) and he may offer some help for a small fee. He’ll have it sorted in no time mate.

Good luck
Thanks again Twenny, I think I’ll have to before I mess anything up. He’s not too far from me anyway so I’ve dropped him an email

Cheers
Excellent yes go see him ASAP mate.

I’d say mention my name but he’ll probably add 20%!!!! LOL

Nah he’s a top bloke and a proper legend when it comes to coding.

Let us know how you get on?

Sorted. Alarm chirp and speedo are great little extra too.

I don’t recommend many people but Wibbles is top notch and worth every penny.

Big thanks to Wiggles for remote coding the cruise control into my car today! Very simple process to hook everything up. He even coded my electric mirrors to the key fob!

Followed RobtheVikings physical fitting guide which was great - I have MFSW so changed the process slightly. I found it easier to remove the airbag first before removing the plastic trim. Then disconnect the MFSW wire from the slipring.

Reconnecting the shrouds was fiddly and probably the hardest part tbh. You'll need an extender for the 16mm socket to undo the steering wheel - the nut sits quite deep in the wheel so access can be hard without an extender.

Oh and the bolts on the back of my steering wheel trim were T20 not T10.

I found pretty cheap switch unit from e91 320d 2008 for my 2005 e87. Only problem is the one I found has AUTO wipers, unlike my car. Few people on this thread have written that it will work without problems (and additionally there will be LED for intermittent wiping :) ). Can someone confirm this?
And also I will be adding mfsw but couldnt find which modules are affected (as dsc and kombi for cc) because I dont want to process the whole car? Thaaanks :D

Yes, Auto wiper switch will work fine on non auto wiper car.

Thanks everyone. Everything works perfect now.
For mfsw I coded only KOMBI and DSC to default after adding $249 and $540 and it worked as it should (couldnt find this info anywhere) :D
