Great video but I thought for that price it would be a full exhaust not just the backbox How much would the full exhaust be.

Looking to do this maybe tomorrow, is everyone finding 150mm to be the optimal point to cut? I don't want the wheelbarrow effect, but also don't want the backbox to be constantly pulling backwards on the exhaust by cutting things too short.
Gone!: '65 plate F21 M135i LCI fully loaded, plus Birds suspension (paired to adaptive dampers) and Quaife differential! :(

Holy thread revival, but I'm doing this soon so checked out the vid.
Its a good vid, although very sorry to sound rude but isn't there the faint touch of the wheelbarrows on the finished job? Maybe its the camera angles?

I was considering measuring the 150mm then cutting 10mm further back to pull things back a tiny bit.
Is that good idea or will I be in rubber hanger hell trying to get the MPE to fit.
Perhaps I'm better to cut a little of the tailpipes instead?

Any advice welcome :)

You could cut a bit more off the exhaust, but be careful you don’t take too much off because the silencer may foul on the heat shield.

And remember the vid is a pre-LCI car, the “wheelbarrow effect” is worse if you have an LCI :(
