Oops, yes. I didnt notice the big clue in the title - was just answering the question about LL04, and must’ve assumed diesel  Dont know what I was thinking there :?:

I agree with Octavious, LL01 is fine for petrol.

I think you have an N43 or N45 engine.

You can go for anything on this page, depending on how much you want to spend and how hard you want to drive it.

For a 116 you arent really going to need the top end stuff.

The first one on the page happens to be an LL04 - noted in the specifications tab under the big picture on the product page.

Fuch or Motul have a decent reputation, so one of those might possibly maybe suit you? End of the day, it’s your call :)
E87 118d, stock, plus PDC control unit drain, Parrot, debadged, Mothercare baby shades (but no babies), and occassionally a good layer of wax. Instantly forgettable, and thats the way I like it.

Not long now until the end of May...

Petrol should still have LL04, it’s even in the notes of the approved oil list. It’s not expensive and the poor N46 etc needs all the help it can to survive.

I'd buy oil from somewhere that does list the full specs of the oil. If Amazon doesnt do that then go somewhere else. Plenty of online outlets available and some cheaper than Amazon too.

eBay item no: 283277992476 will be a good oil choice.
