Outside black door trim on white 135i

Post by Dunn2621 » Wed Nov 15, 2017 2:37 pm

Afternoon gents/ladies,

Apologies if this has been asked before but i could do with pointing in the right direction !

I have a recently bought a white 2010 135i and whilst polishing it the other day i noticed that the black (i'm assuming it's plastic ) trim on the top of the doors looks like it is turning white, almost like its being bleached ?
Is there any way of getting this off and returning this to deep black ?
Sorry to have to ask what i'm guessing most people will find a daft question but i would like to try and keep this car in a nice polished condition !!

Any help greatly received.

Many thanks,

Andy.

You could try a degreaser or universal cleaner to see if it removes the marks, then something like GTechniq C4 to restore and protect it

Think it’s called Shadowline. How did you get on with this ?
