Interior plastic care and alcantara seat care

Post by dark_cobra » Tue Feb 13, 2018 7:12 pm

Looking for product recommendations for interior plastics and alcantara seats. Previously I bought the bmw branded products from Cotswold. Asked them for a price again today and looks like the products might not be the same anymore. Is there something better out there?

I use Koch Chemie Top Star on interior plastics, and Koch Chemie Pol Star at 10% with water on any fabric and alcantara.

A bottle of those two will last you years. Haven’t found better yet.

If you want something easier to get hold of, Sonax Xtreme Cockpit Care and Sonax Xtreme Alcantara Cleaner (foam pump) is very good.

I've got Wolfgang trim sealant on the plastics and and Dr Beasley's alcantara / microsuede protector on the seats and steering wheel. Recommended.

Thanks. Seems hard to find in UK though.

I'm leaning towards Sonax. I've heard that's what the BMW stuff is, just rebranded.

Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer for the plastics/audio unit etc - I'm no professional but this stuff is fantastic. Great product with a nice fragrance...quick 10 min job with a clean microfiber cloth and you're away
