Does anyone know if style 393 17" will fit an M140?
I have a chance to get some wheels to put winters on and was wondering if they will fit?
Cheers

I doubt it - trying to fit e series alloys onto M140i
Is not a given.

I speak from experience as I tried to use 18”style 195 onto my m135i - rears were ok but fronts needed 5mm spacers to clear brake caliper

Attached from realoem with Oem 17" wheels that fit over n55m and b58m brakes

These are for sprint work so I thought a little more rubber would help with heat ? The 45’s are a 95w andvtge 40’s are a 91 so I suspect very little difference in feel/turn in? Both will ‘fit’ though right!?

The 245/45/17 might be ok if you're on stock wishbones.

I'd fit the correct 245/40/17 myself, but you know what the car is going to be put through better than me.

I bit the bullet and got the 393s. They came off a 4 series coupe if that makes a difference, but I can report that they do fit. The offset gives about 8mm more poke but it doesn't seem detrimental, so all good.

10x19 ET54 would poke like a 9x18/19 ET41 one.
Coupled with a (max) 255 tyre, it should be ok with arches. Even though some might find that too pokey.

Going for 235.35.19 on 10"
And 225.35.19 on 9"

235mm is way too narrow for a 10" rim.

Havpet,

Hats off to you for trying something different - what wheels are these + what are the offsets F&R ?

No doubt they will be a fair bit heavier than stock wheels - is this a concern for you ?

As MP says 235 width is too narrow for 10" wide wheel plus 225 is too narrow for 9" wheel however you maybe wanting the stretched look ?

Rear camber can be tweaked so as you can attempt to tuck in the wheel tops and yes you gain some negative camber F&R when you lower the car, maybe 0.5deg at the front with std top mounts, obvs more if you plan on fitting camber plates.

Depending how much meat there is around the bolt holes, you maybe able to get inside hub faces skimmed [say <5mm] to reduce the poke.....

Thank you Image I am going for more like a stance look. I have run 235 on 10" before and it is no problem Image

Rears are going to look quite stanced, but shouldn't rub at either end.

Cheers , I thought the rears may be a bit much, not wanting to go past the arch 👍

Just checking for fun since a friend is getting rid of his wheels, would these fit a BMW F20? Or are they way too big? Think I read somewhere that 19" were max for the F20

20" BMW 433, 8.5 front (255/35), 10.5 rear (295/30), 5/120

Hello guys. I am thinking to change my ugly 16inch wheels 376 on my sport 116d. What do you think about Bola and JR wheels? Bola CSR looks good!
