In a predicament.. bought a set of JR37 18x8 ET35 all round however lowered on H&R. Have a set of Nankang NS-2Rs 225F 245R so will struggle to run this set up on the rears due to offset and square tyre.

Best options?

1. Keep the ET35s and run a 225R (ideally would only run a 245 square setup)

2. Order new wheels ET40 all round and run 225F 245R and hope rears will fit

3. Order new wheels ET45 all round and run 225F 245R and get some 3mm spacers just Incase I want a bit of extra poke.

Hey Marco. I've got the 763M replicas on 18x8 ET40 and 18x9 ET48. I was thinking to go for 225/40 all around, I've found a good offer for the PS4s. Would 225/40 be too stance on the rear?

Will fit with stock suspension but going to fit the Eibachs soon.

Thought I'd stick this in here...

Suspension: Bilstein B8 dampers with Motech Eibach Stance springs

Wheels:
Apex EC-7
Front: 8.5J ET45 (with 3mm spacer) with with Bridgestone Potenza Sport - 235/40/18
Rear: 9.5J ET58 with Bridgestone Potenza Sport - 265/35/18

The front's just clear the Strut (talking 2-3mm) but they don't seem to be rubbing on the arch - I wanted to use a 3mm spacer if possible to maximize the outer arch clearance.

I wasn't sure if I'd need to run the regular Eibach Pro's that came with the B12 kit but seem to be OK so far; am I correct in saying the ride sits a bit higher with the B8 dampers vs stock dampers for a given spring combo?

Hi all, need some new aftermarket wheels again. My last set were destroyed and no longer available worldwide :(

For reference I had the following specs previously. F: 18x8.5 +35 R: 18x9.5 +45

Currently looking at the Koya SF01 with the following specs. F: 18x8.0 +40 235/40 R: 18x9.0 +42 255/35. Lowered on Eibach springs only.

Concerned with rear fitment. Any feedback on this fit?

235mm is the minimum safe stretch for a 9” rim, I’d be fitting 255/35 myself.

They might just fit, no promises though. If they can machine a little more off the rears to make them ET43 or 44 it would be more comfortable.

Thanks Marco. An opportunity has come up for some Apex ARC-8 for sale locally. These are the specs:

18x8.5 +45
18x9.5 +58

How would these go?

They are 19x8.5 ET35 with 225/35/19's all around.

Thanks in advance.

P.S also would i be able to go 245/30s in the rear ?

They’ll probably go on with the 225/35’s quite nicely, if you’re happy with the drop in grip/traction. Are they Winters?

245/30 would be getting pretty flush, you’d have to measure up very carefully. Don’t be surprised if you need an arch roll.

Thanks Marco, no they are some cheapo summer tyres that will most definitely need replacing and i cant really decide if i should get something wider for the rear as I don't really drive on the limits and i dont want to do any arch rolling.
According to an offset/tyre size comparison, a 245/30 would stick out 18mm further than stock setup, it also says a 235/30 would only stick out 13mm, but these are extremely hard to find and expensive. so far I've only seen Michelin PS supersports in that size on ebay and no tyre website actually has them for a 19inch wheel.

yeah this is where i get confused since the 235/35/19 is widely available but would increase rolling diameter by 2.9% where the 235/30/19 is a 0.1% decrease...is a 2.9% increase acceptable ? it would also bring the top of the sidewall 9mm higher/closer to the body.

235/35 should only be about 1% larer than the 225/35 fronts? A 235/30 would be about 16mm smaller (ie, visibly smaller) than the fronts, so it would look like a penny farthing.
