Hi guys!

Would it be possible to run 8.5x18 et35 with 225/40 square? Know it might be agressive, but that’s what i’m going for. With no rubbings tho.
Yes, they'll fit. Aggressive, but no rubbing.

You'll have zero kerb protection, so be careful when parking!

Thanks Marco!

Could clearing the brakes be a problem?

I’m used to driving on streched rims, but thanks for the heads up!

At ET35 it's very unlikely you'd have any issue with brake clearance.

Had a look through the thread but couldn't see same question.

The CM Wheels 666M reps in 19". ET 35/45, 8.5J/9.5J front/rear.

Will these go on my M135? It's lowered 25mm on H&R's.

Was thinking 235/35/19 F and 255/30/19 R.

Thoughts? TIA

That's an aggressive stance, but should just about fit.

We don't usually recommend cheapo 19" cast reps though, they have a nasty habit of bending/buckling/cracking. Can you justify a decent forged set?

Have there been problems with the CM wheels?

To be honest I like the original wheels, but when I saw a 135 on 666M's I fell in love with them, and the originals are mega bucks (and 20").

If I wasn't gonna fit those I'd stick with originals.

Thanks for reply 👍

Style 397 18" x 8" x ET34mm all round in FG. OEM MPSS F&R with Birds B1S suspension upgrade c/w F8x front LCA's

Now that is just perfect (says the guy after a 5 door but hates the Mlite standard wheels).

@Blind Pugh

Did you have spacers on when this pic was taken? What is the difference in ride height between stock and your B1S set up please? Just roughly, so I can get a feel. Thanks!

Also, I don't suppose you ever took a snap before painting them FG?

Hi TxJohn,

No spacers - 18" x 8" et 34mm + F8X LCAs

Ride height change between stock and B1S springs was about -15mm F&R

Photo's of 397's before FG re-furb - no unfortunately but see below white m135i from KW website.

I might have to copy you, once I get a car, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the information. I did spot that white car on a google image search, yep!

I have 397's as my winter wheels and must say they are the best looking OEM wheels in my opinion..

When I saw them on that car on the KW sites a few years back, I'm suprised I've not seen them fitted to many F2x cars apart from BP, wibbles and jibbotson when they had their cars

I have some pics of mine when it was on std. ride height posted below if you want to know what it looks like without lowering suspension (not taken any pics lowered as it's permanently dirty in winter haha)

That's perfect, as I was wondering what they'd look like on standard ride and also how they's suit an LCI. Are yours Ferric? They seem about the same shade as the front 'blades'.

It’s lovely. I’ll need to seek out a blue car, although I think they would work well with orange too.
