255mm at ET35 isn't going to fit at all.

Is it possible to run 18x8.5 with 255/35 or 245/40 on a M135i Xdrive (LCI) lowered with KW V1?

I know it won’t be any issues in the rear, but up front it will be tight, especially without camberplates, question is if it will work with the correct ET?

For the rears should I aim for et45? How about the fronts, 40, 41 something?

PIcked up some new forged Japanese goodness.

Advan GTs with AD08r tyres.
Specs are
front: 18x8.5et35 with 225/40/18
rear: 18x9 et52 with 255/35/18

Fitment is spot on!

Looks good, I really like those, tidy offset match for rears too, where did you get them from.

Thanks mate.
I am in Australia so not sure how much help this is but I just got them from a local tyre place that imports/distributes Advan products.

I'm looking to fet the same size for tyres, also r-compound.
But I can't find any wheels with high ET.

How do you think it would work wit h18x9 ET45 in the rear and 18x8 ET38 in the front?
(same tyres as you have now)

Looks like it would be touch and go in the rear. I just went and measured and it looks like I would have 5mm clearance between the guard and the sidewall at full compression, I’m running -2 camber.
And the wheels you are looking at stick out 7mm further than mine.

Hello guys,

I already bought "Borbet CW 2 black" second hand.
front : 19 inch, et35, 8 j with 235/35/19 very good Michelin tires
rear : 19 inch, et35, 9 j what tires i need to buy? 245/30/19 ? Should i need spacers as well, because of the positive scrub radius?

You definitely don't need spacers!! Spacers would make everything worse.

245mm rears might rub. I'd put one of your 235/35's on a back rim and check the fitment.

225/35/19 might be a better fit on the front?

On a 1 serie, 9x19 ET35 will definitively not be ok.
The only way, imo, to avoid some problems is to go with 235x35 but in this case, the rim will not be protected in case of contact with sidewalks.

If you have a 2 serie, I don't know.

how do you find the clearance at the rear ? do yo have any spacers fitted to bring it out from the spring ?

current have 9.5j et 45 rears and wondering how much space you have on the inside ?

Rear clearance is close but no need for a spacer
