F21 - No Interior boot light

Post by Shaundon37 » Thu Jan 10, 2019 12:15 pm

Hey

I have been into my boot recently and there are 4 gaps in the interior for bulb housings.

There are currently 2 in there, however, there are no wires behind and aren't plugged into anything. Anyone else found this issue ?
and if so how you recitifed it ?

Could just go to a breakers and get some extra lights and wire them to the others?

So you have receivers in the trim for four lights, two lights installed but none working ?

Are you sure there are spaces for four?

If you mean the three gaps between the single lamp and the rear seat back, as in this diagram
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f21- ... 1VnY0ITRT9
then they arent for luggage compartment lighting, but are vents to allow air from the dash vents to exit the car (what comes in has to go out somewhere :) )
E87 118d, stock, plus PDC control unit drain, Parrot, debadged, Mothercare baby shades (but no babies), and occassionally a good layer of wax. Instantly forgettable, and thats the way I like it.

Not long now until the end of May...
