FRM2 and bi-xenons

Post by driftben » Mon Nov 02, 2015 8:12 am

Hi all,
I am currently doing the oem bi-xenon and was wondering if anyone was successfully running this setup with a FRM2?
Just don't want to buy a FRM 3 If I don't need to.

Thanks
Ben

You need FRM3 or FRM Max if you're doing the OEM retrofit AFAIK.

Ohh that sucks!
Will any FRM3/max do or do I need to find one for a E82?

I believe any but I'm not 100% sure. I don't think anyone on the forum has managed to get OEM Xenons working on FRM2.

OEM Xenons will work on an FRM 1 - my 335i had one fitted from the factory, you just have to make sure its the right one.

You may as well change the FRM for an FRM3 though as I highly doubt your FRM 2 will work with the retrofitted Xenons.

Yep I think your right, may play it safe and grab a FRM3 or max. Would really like to do it all this weekend.

I killed my last laptop so I need to reinstall NCS back on.
I may drop you another help message Craig as you are the coding man in the know if that's ok?

Now need to find a FRM3 before the weekend.....
