I’m looking at running a decat to standard exhaust system will this just be a bolt off bolt on job is there more to it.
What are you guys running

You'll get a constant CEL (unless you run a JB4 to delete all the error codes constantly), and an MOT fail of course.

Can't be bothered with all that persoanlly, for a 3% power gain that you won't even notice after a day's passed.

+1 on that. I tried decat a few years ago and couldn't really tell the difference really!

I would also advise against, for the aforementioned reasons plus the fact the turbine can start to run away with the loss of backpressure. Happens to many diesel owners running high boost.

I've been running decat on my m135i for 2 years. The thing you will notice when compared to stock do is the exhaust noice (lots of pops and bangs) and I like to think the turbo spools up quicker too.

For power I can't comment on that sorry.
I'll soon have my Wagner decat pipe for sale if interested?

With a Decat and a remap or jb4 adjuster map 6 these will run 400-420bhp

With a sports cat remap or jb4 adjuster map 6 around 390-400bhp
