i've been interested in a remap for a while and was going to get one done on my little mito. Now i've got to grips with my 120d coupe as in power the way it handles and the rest i just want more go! i've had a miltek system fitted cat back and it certainly sounds nicer than a tractor.

I have the N47 engine unfortunately but i will keep the oil fresh to prevent any problem. If anything god for bid did happen or if bmw needed to plug my car in at all would they know straight away that it has been remapped? The only reason i ask is that i have renewed my warranty with bmw just in case. my car was made january 2010 but is a 59 plate and it is a 120d m sport coupe.

thank you!

Hi

I have a 2010 car, would it require the ecu to be opened or is is through the port?

Hi, we regularly tune BMW's which are still under warranty, and to date we have had no issues at all. If anything was of real concern, we could arrange getting the car flashed to stock for you.

Hi, yes, most late 2009 cars require the ECU to be removed. Done professionally, the ECU/car leaves us 100% as they were when they left the factory :)

Hi Will I am confused now. If all late 2009 cars need the ECU to be removed will your remote itorque flash still work on my 2010 125i?

Hi

Yes, all the 125i's can be tuned, as can the x35d's and BMW 1M

Afternoon all, new member of the Forum and have been reading through all the remapping posts, still confused as to the above... I have a 59 plate 125i and looking to buy the iFlash, will it or won't it plug in and work?

Thanks!

I think you'll find that late 2009 onwards cars have encryption so even though the car can be remapped, the ECU needs to be removed and mapped on a bench meaning that the iFlash won't work.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Paul, yes in house tune includes dyno power runs.

Is your BMW an E series or F series?
