Anyone familiar with Autodoc App?

Post by marco_polo »

Anyone understand their discounts?

I've not used them before, popped half a dozen parts in my virtual basket the other day with 26% discount, went back in today to pull the trigger and it's dropped to 21%.

Do the prices bounce around regularly? I don't think its due to exchange rate as the pound is as strong as it's been in a year currently?

I've ordered from them on several occasions without issue; albeit via the site rather than the app.

They do seem to have a EuroCarParts approach to discounts though, with the discount levels forever changing.

Thanks for the feedback Bud.

Anyone think the discount is likely to rebound anytime soon?

Make sure you take the option to return via them if they arrive wrong. Might be a few quid extra but worth it.

I recently bought some discs and pads for my van which I ended up not needing due to the garage sourcing them
Heavy box still sat in the garage as I can't be arsed to ship back to Germany.

Discounts are up and down like a yo yo. They had 40% off discs and pads the other week. Seemingly change them almost daily.

If they send the wrong parts, I'm liable for return shipping?!

Only if you don't take the option for them to collect. I seem to remember they will collect at no cost to you but it could have been weeks before you see a refund!
I was certain I was going to use the parts only the garage jumped the gun.

Iv used the app a few times. The discounts tend to go up and down but you might have to wait a week or so. They have some flash sales too, so worth signing up to their newsletter as they send you additional discount codes to use.
id also recommend paying the few extra quid for free returns, well worth it and still works out cheaper than most places.

Paypal or your credit card company (if it's £100+) would have something to say about that!

They change discount level almost daily and you get a bit extra with the app. I never pay the extra for their purchase insurance but only problem I had getting them to collect an incorrect part (wrong sized brake disc in a sealed box) was a bit of a language barrier initially and obviously the delay with the part going back and then another being despatched.

When I ordered my B12 kit I used the website rather than the app. But as said discounts and prices seem to fluctuate regularly.

The option to pay a little extra for returning items was something like a 200 day no quibble collect and return policy, whatever the reason they’d take it back, that was my understanding of it.

They also do cashback via Top Cash Back, which makes using the website cheaper than the app.

Today seems a low... The B12 kit is £545 - lowest its been in weeks. The price also changes for the same % discount... Could be exchange rates or mabye its all just made up like Euro Car Parts
