I'm in on a BTC price tracker in my pension portfolio (BIT-XBT), I don't actually hold/own any Bitcoin.

I'm 13k invested and 60+% up at present over the last 3months.

Nice! Could you ping me some details of how you set this up? I'm looking to start a SIPP and wanted BTC as part of my portfolio.

I'm in for the long term. Bit of a drop since the fork was cancelled which I presume was due to fill or kill orders when it spiked and 5% down or so last 24hours.

Risky but you earn f'all holding cash these days.

Good luck to those invested! :fest:
Thats what prompted me to invest, my savings are doing nothing! Up 25%, I got out at peak after the Segwit2x fork was cancelled, waiting for the price to settle before getting back in. I think the futures market opening up will drive the price up over the next month

Agreed, I think the futures stuff will get the flow up again.....

I use Hargreaves Lansdown as it's through my work SIPP. Pretty straight forward to setup a new SIPP.

Pretty good app too as far as these things go!

Nice, thank you.

Personally I think we're going to see a correction back to below €5k before it starts rising again.

The CME futures involve no BTC purchase at all, all USD value pegged to BTC. If we see futures which actually involve settling in BTC then demand will rise I think.

It will go up, probs hit £10k in a few years time.

Tl;dr - buy it and it'll go up.
£10k in a few years time sounds like a conservative estimate now, it’s on £11.9k and about to hit £12k anytime now

so the gamble seemed to have paid off... since i bought lite coin its quadrupled in value... my logic at the time was that its got growth potential like bitcoin but is likely to grow faster over a shorter period...

that seems to have been true...

obviously not made any real money out of it but thought id share
BMW 440i - carbon black - great machine!
Audi S5 Sportback - Chav white - All the toys and massive red bucket seats - gone
Audi S4 Avant - Midnight blue - Lots of Toys (died)
BMW 130i LE No Mods Great as standard! - Now sadly gone...

Good work!

I am in a SIPP price tracker (BIT-XBT).

£13k in about 4months back, took £20k out a week or so ago for my money back + a £7k profit and what I have left is now worth £17k today!! Lol, madness!

I'm happy to let that ride long term now and see where it goes.........
