Does anyone know a good go karting forum? I don’t own a kart or want to (cost ect), but would like to make it a monthly thing and meet like minded people (without looking weird  )
Now: 2006 130i with even more goodies ;)

Don't know where abouts you're based, but the Daytona Karting tracks (Esher, Tamworth, Manchester and Milton Keynes) do something called the 'InKart Championship' Last sunday of each month, you get 3 heat races, and 1 final. Racing is close, fair and you meet a lot of like minded people along the way - this event lasts for about 1/2 a day, to a full day.

They also do the D60 Champs, which is a 1 hour endurance race at their Milton Keynes and Esher tracks, this lasts about 2-3 hours from arrival to leaving.

Alternatively, if the budget can stretch, try looking at Daytona DMAX champs, or Club100, again these are full day events :)

If you need any other info, let me know - I used to work for Daytona lol.
Message me if you want your car photoshopped :)

Whenever I hear Daytona, I think of the old school arcade game lol. "daaaaaytooonaaaaaaa".

You'll get it, if you know what I'm on about.

I’m based in Kent :)

Definitely can’t justify buying a Kart. So would have to be where the karts are provided :) I’m a member of team sport and they do their own “championship”, but it’s on a Friday evening... and Buckmore Park do it on Monday’s... so other than killing my annual leave, both are not viable options

Yep, Daytona supply all their own stuff, same with Club 100. Literally turn up, race, go home without breaking the bank. I used it as a stepping stone to get into club level tin-top racing.

Daytona Sandown Park is probably the closest of the ones I've mentioned. Just off J10 of the M25 and a quick trip (5 miles or so) down the A3 to Esher.

So went to daytona (Milton Keynes) yesterday for a work charity event and loved the circuit. Potential to get some real speed on it!

Now booked for some indoor karting at Crawley on Friday 13th... what can go wrong...

MK is a brill little track. The last section can be tough to get right though.

Enjoy Crawley, never been there, but heard good things.
