BMW service

Hey guys

My 3 series is due for a service this month bmw want £344 to change oil, oil filter, air filter and fuel filter. Is there any way of getting the price down? Do you guys take it to bmw or somewhere else ?

Take your own oil. That saves quite a sum.

It’s still coming up at £344 when going through bmw value service. How much is oil to buy and how much do bmw charge ?

Rang bmw to book in for the service gave them my reg and mileage. I asked them how much it would be he said £219 so not sure why they said £344 a couple of months ago when I asked

I'm not sure where you're based however you may be able to find some ex BMW techs who work independently such as these guys in Leatherhead...

As a caveat, I've not used them yet however they seem to get good reviews, I just found them online shortly after I brought my 1 series.

Just paid £232 for oil, oil filter and pollen filter at BMW using 0w 30 Shell oil..
F21 June 2013 build AW M135i N55 PWG ZF8 (Sun protection package + 20% tint, Driver comfort package, Bum Warmers, Black Panel, HK, Hex trim, M Perf grills, rear spoiler and fins) Full Twenty20 LED bulb upgrade, ITG Panel filter.
