Father has passed away

Post by rusty13 » Thu Aug 08, 2019 4:29 pm

Sorry if I’ve been a bit quiet lately folks but sadly my father passed away last week at the age of 56 after a horrible battle with oesophageal cancer. His funeral isn’t for a few weeks but in the hope of raising some money for a good cause to help prevent other people going through the same, I’ve created a cancer research donations page targeted for oesophageal cancer at the link below. I’d be very grateful for any support or contributions you can spare, no matter how small. Please feel free to share the link too if you can.

No problem bro.

Would be nice if the other 65 people that have viewed this thread would donate even £1.

But why would they? It’s not like they own £10-50k+ performance cars......oh wait.

I don’t judge, nobody owes a penny. But if anyone can spare anything then like I said, we’re very grateful.

You did indeed! How are you Gary? You ok? Wheels are still going fine btw! I think that was the last road trip I had with my old man actually.

Cheers mate, thanks for the donation!

Sorry to hear that. I hope you are staying strong. I’m trying but it’s very hard.

Thanks for the donation. The kindness in the car communities really shows at times like these

All good this end thanks mate. I had just under 2 years away in an Audi S4 but was lured back by an M2 Competition. Yeah I remember you guys heading over to collect them, you must have been up at the crack of dawn to get over to mine as it was early morning.

I’m glad to hear the wheels are treating you well. You running the M135i still?
