Looks awesome! Very interesting that you have gone back from the M2. Making me rethink my aims!!
The m2 is a good car dont get me wrong, however with the m140 you allways feel like the cars giving you every thing its got, with the m2 i allways thought like the car felt held back, like you could tell bmw didnt put their all into it, and that frustrated me every time i drove it....
Fair enough. It will be interesting to see whether the M2 Competiton would be the M2 you always wanted. I love my 235 but find there are issues with he likes of suspension and find it misses that edge a little. That’s why I was thinking of the M2 although haven’t driven one yet!
The m2 comp pack sounds perfect to me, however my friend at bmw keeps bugging me to buy an f80 manual before they are all gone, weirdly they still have my m2 sat there for sale 4 months on, its now up for less than they gave me for it.

Yeah the market for the M2 seems to have really slowed suddenly! Hoping it might help me jump over to one at some point! F80 is a completely different car though! What are you thinking of at the moment then? Keeping the 1er?
M235i The first car I have still been completely happy with after two months! :D

So the skirts are on, just waiting for the lightweight front lip to arrive now, any way gave the car a clean and i have to say considering the price the maxton side skirts and spoiler cap does look and fit very well...

Does it come with a manual on how to fit them or just some self tapping screws and double sided tape?

Looks good!

Bingo you got it in one bud, doube sided tape to stick it up while you line it up etc then black self tappers, the kit comes with self tapping bolts, however you need to be careful as there isnt much room between the plastic skirt and the metal inner sill.

Hiya bud, they were supplied by bmw, about £100 and very easy to fit a 1 min job per side.

Okay so its fitted... about a 30 second job..

Now i have to say i have been on the fence about the jb+ etc for a while, thinking how does it really give you that much,

But yes its faster... quite a bit faster.... on a bit of road i know well, from a stand still to a point on the road i know im going xxx speed, 3 runs with the jb+ have shown im 10mph faster by that point, lots more pops and bangs too, ohh and more turbo sounds!

All in all £189 well worth it!

Well worth the money, im very sceptical but i was suprised, no funny flat spots in the rev range, comes to around 2,500 rpm and it pulls much harder to the red line, mid range is also far more usable.

***UPDATE...

The car has pipercross panel filter, bcs midpipe and jb+ only...

Just did a few timed runs...

30mph-70mph in 2nd gear is 3.2 seconds! On a slight uphill slope.
