Service pack

Post by Truedetective10 » Thu Jan 11, 2018 9:18 pm

Evening all
I know this sounds daft but who am I best contacting to purchase service pack stealers or BMW direct?
First service due this month on 15000, been quoted £320 and £310 so might as well get pack. Also had to have a terrible conversation with a service operative who pretended that I was the first person in the world to say I would supply my own oil!!

Did they break down the price of the service into the different elements?

That is poor. You would think they could say how much the labour rate is, the cost of the oil and other parts.

Doesn't the service pack have to have been purchased within 60 days (or perhaps 90) of car being registered?

BMW Service Inclusive is available on all new BMW models and covers the cost of a comprehensive list of serviceitems for up to 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first. BMW ServiceInclusive can be purchased at any point up until the vehicle's firstservice.

That's true for 2017 cars, but the T&Cs were different prior to that - can't remember the exact details.

I think that's what my dealer said when bought my car last month. I was directed towards not bothering with the service inclusive as its only 3 years 36000 and no longer includes brake fluid changes.
