Insurance with Bilstien and LSD

Post by McTrucky » Sat Jan 13, 2018 4:05 pm

Just thought I'd have a little gloat having seen some of the horror stories I've read on here about insurance.

Finally got round to telling LV insurance about my BMW LSD and my Billy Suspension. And the cost to me for these additions is.... £26. :spotman:

Never had to claim on LV, so can't comment on that side of the equation, but I started using them for the free European Comprehensive Insurance as in the past I have often had weekend trips over to Europe and other companies always wanted a £50 or so charge to extend the cover. With LV it is just there all the time.

So just putting some positive Insurance noise out there to balance the more usual negative stories.

Heard LV are pretty good on pricing. However they won’t insure me on my m140i

I’ve been insured with LV a few times over the years and they’ve always been mod friendly until the number of mods exceeds their limit, used to be 5 might not be the same now though.

I'm with Adrian Flux on a proper modified policy and they don't charge you anything for adding on anymore mods.
