Have you checked AFR’s on a dyno with the Bluespark? Were there not several drivetrain warning issues with BS?

Also, are BS fairly new to tuning the N55 / B58 unit, have they put the same R&D in to the product as BMS?

Not slating BS, just don’t know too much about them.

Really like the extra power with my JB+, reckon it's 390-400bhp. But gotta say it's not a smooth power delivery. Wouldn't put me off though.

I've seen these types of figures on previously tuned cars. Just cause it gives a higher bhp on a rolling road doesn't nesseceraly mean it's a better map. It's how it's mapped is the important thing. Usually a more progressive curve is better than instant surge/power! Anyone got any BS graphs and JB+ graphs???

I'm quite old I started with E36 M3's I'm well versed in Bmw's. Please don't try and talk about the area under the curve to me. I know all about custom tuning my last car was a N54 FBO tuned via Pureboost. I know how to data log etc and read them. But yes I agree there is more to a "map" than peak numbers. But as we are talking piggy backs in this instance they aren't really a map/flash are they

I have one, £189 and just plugs in and replace the engine cover, you cant see it, good power delivery and great value. Happy customer here.

The standard setting it came as, nice extra power boost with no sudden sugre or spikiness (if thats a real word).

+25bhp over a jb+ with a blue spark? Yet im running more bhp than the bluespark website predicts also the dyno graph on the bs website doesnt look nothing like any other dyno graph ive seen of the b58

The 394bhp run was done in 6th and hit the 155mph limiter before the redline

What do those boxes change? Anything more than boost? If the BlueSpark has another connector then maybe something else too. BUT they are very limited and the power gain will come from added boost so if one has more power than the other than more boost is added.
